Before I start on the progress of Worlds Without End: The Prophecy, I need to apologize to all of the fans of the Worlds Without End series. This year has been a tumultuous year for me personally. As a result, I turned away from my passion for writing, so much so that I haven’t written anything significant for nearly a year. But I don’t want to go into detail about this the year I have had. This will come in a later post on what I have learned during this difficult time in my life.
Nonetheless, it has also been a year in which more fans have entered into the Worlds Without End universe. In the past 12 months alone, the Kindle edition of Worlds Without End: The Mission has been downloaded 4,400 times. Additionally, The Mission has remained in the top 10 of Christian-Futuristic books in the Kindle store. With the success of the first book, sales have also increased in for Aftermath, the second book in the series. This has resulted in hundreds of fans emailing me or posting on my webpage and Facebook page asking when Worlds Without End: The Prophecy will be released.
Well, I am happy to tell all of the fans of the Worlds Without End series that I am back to writing and hope to have Worlds Without End: The Prophecy ready for release early next year. I will keep you posted on this site and my Facebook page on the book’s progress. Or, you can subscribe to this blog and get updates and blog posts delivered to your inbox directly. In the meantime, I have provided all of you with a free preview of Worlds Without End: The Prophecy. This is the prologue to the book. To set the stage, it begins 6,000 earth years before the time frames of The Mission and Aftermath. Chapter 1 will then continue where the story left off at the conclusion of Worlds Without End: Aftermath. I felt the need to include this long prologue in the third book because it answers questions from the first two books, such as:
How did the Gnols become a super-race of human beings?
Why is the chosen one the only one who can decipher the three gold plates?
Why must the chosen one descend from Coen Chast?
